Bio.3DGREEN Kick-Off Meeting

The Bio.3DGREEN project’s Kick-Off Meeting took place in Hannover, Germany, on May 27 th , 2025 where fourteen partners from Germany, Spain, UK, Greece, Cyprus, Belgium, Italy, Denmark, and Switzerland participated.

Bio.3DGREEN project will create a new way to produce bio-based components using graphene foam. Inspired by nature and based on sustainable materials like vegetable oil, the project will develop parts that absorb vibrations, noise, and shocks, that can be used in automotive, aerospace, and marine sectors.

During the meeting, all partners had the opportunity to meet in person, discuss the project’s goals, the technical details, and timeline, and plan how they will work together. Also, the participants analyzed in detail and organized the working tasks which have been set in order to ensure the project’s successful implementation and impact maximization.

The fourteen partners, from all over Europe and the UK, that are involved in the project are the following: LZH ASERZENTRUM HANNOVER EV (Germany), UNIVERSIDAD COMPLUTENSE DE MADRID (Spain), ATOMISING SYSTEMS LIMITED (UK), UNIVERSITY OF PATRAS (Greece), ENGITEC SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED (Cyprus), MEAB CHEMIE TECHNIK GMBH (Germany), DIN DEUTSCHES INSTITUT FUER NORMUNG EV (Germany), YLISENSE PRIVATE COMPANY IKE (Greece), TENNECO AUTOMOTIVE EUROPE BVBA (Belgium), CENTRO RICERCHE FIAT SCPA (Italy), PROZERO INTERNATIONAL APS (Denmark), STRATAGEM ENERGY LTD (Cyprus), NEURALTECH IKE (Greece), ALPES LASERS SA (Switzerland).

On the second half of the meeting day, the participants were offered the opportunity of having a lab tour at LZH facilities.
